OIPCBC Goldner Report Refusal
Ron Bolin: March 18, 2018
On Friday last I received written notice from the OIPCBC Investigator dealing with my request for the Goldner Report. Read it here:
OIPCBC Mar 9 20180316_12550482
In short, it informs me that my request to see the Goldner Report, in either full or redacted form, has been refused and that I have just a few days to request that the inquiry proceed further. If you want to know more about the inquiry take a look at the following posts
https://nanaimocityhall.com/2017/10/22/freedom-of-information/ and

I, for one, am tired of being told that, as an ordinary tax paying citizen, I am so far below the salt at the table of representative government that I can be easily brushed off. I have not given up all my rights to public information to those who have been elected for four years or who have been appointed by them. Am I alone? I would appreciate your comments and suggestions on this inquiry.

Ron, I am grateful for your tenacity! What the heck is with everyone and everything? If you do not agree to this delay then it will disappear. I would keep pushing. Do you need some help?
If you would like to see who DID get a copy of the Goldner Report, take a look at this:

Levels of many government bureaucracies are hiding behind this so called “freedom of information bill” by withholding that information, when they do not want to be scrutinized for apparent wrong doing. They are public servants and should be serving the public, since the taxpayers are paying for the whole process
This email was sent to Mr. Presley regarding OIPCBC File F17-72834
Dear Trevor Presley:
Following up on my decision to dispute your analysis of my file as discussed earlier today, I would like to confirm the two previous Orders on which you relied in the decision which you provided in your letter of March 9, 2018.
As I understand it, it is your opinion that the Section 13(1) objection from the City is met by Order 01-15 found on the OIPC web site by:
https://www.oipc.bc.ca/orders/679 MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD
and that regarding Section 22 by:
https://www.oipc.bc.ca/orders/676 THE BOARD OF SCHOOL TRUSTEES OF SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 84 (VANCOUVER ISLAND WEST).
Am I correct in this understanding? Have I missed something?
Thanks for your assistance.

My formal response to the OIPCBC in this matter will follow in due course.
