“I think local media is doing a good job at covering city hall, but it doesn’t attend every committee meeting or really have the time to do thorough research,” said Murphy. “If the site develops the way I’d like it, we’d be able to attend those meetings, assign beats to our bloggers, and get the information out to the public.”
